What a 10-Day MVP Actually Includes (and What It Doesn't)

We offer one package: a working AI MVP in 7 to 10 days at a fixed price between $2,500 and $3,500. That is not marketing fluff. It is a scope contract. You get Google sign-in, a React web app, a database, deployment on Vercel, and one scoped AI feature. You get the repo. You get a live URL. You get a walkthrough on delivery day.

We use a fixed stack on purpose. React and Next.js on the front. A proven database layer. Vercel for hosting. OpenAI or similar for the AI piece. We are not reinventing architecture per client. That is how we hit ten days without cutting corners on the basics.

The package is built for US solo founders who tried low-code, hit a wall, and need something they can demo to customers or investors. Not a slide deck. Not a Figma file. A product.

Transparency is part of the package. You always know what we are building, what day we are on, and what is left before launch.

Basic AI means one feature, scoped tight. Chat on your docs. Summarize uploaded content. Classify user input into categories. Generate a draft from a template. Pick one. We wire it end to end: prompt, API, UI, error handling.

It does not mean a custom model trained on your proprietary data. It does not mean five AI tools in one app. It does not mean autonomous agents that run overnight. Those are v2 or a different budget.

On the estimator, step three asks which AI job matters most. That question exists because founders over-scope AI. Customers want one thing that works reliably. We build that one thing.

We include sensible defaults: rate limiting, basic logging, and user-visible error states when the model fails. "AI" without failure handling is a demo, not a product.

You bring sample data for testing. We tune prompts on real examples from your domain, not lorem ipsum.

You receive a production URL anyone can visit. You receive the GitHub repo with clean commit history. You receive a 30 to 60 minute walkthrough where we show auth, core flow, AI feature, and how to deploy updates.

The app includes responsive layout for desktop and mobile web. It includes basic admin or settings if your scope needs them. It includes environment setup docs so your next developer is not guessing.

We do not hand you a localhost zip file. We hand you something live. That matters when your first customer meeting is Thursday.

Delivery includes a short loom or recorded walkthrough you can share with stakeholders who missed the call.

We transfer Vercel project access and document which env vars you need. No treasure hunts.

Ongoing maintenance is not included. We fix delivery bugs during the build window. After handoff, you own the code and the hosting bill.

Native iOS or Android apps are not included. We ship web apps that work on mobile browsers. App Store builds are a separate project.

Unlimited revisions are not included. The fixed price assumes fixed scope. Change requests mid-build get re-scoped or queued for phase two.

Complex payments are not included in the base package. Stripe checkout for a single plan is fine. Multi-sided marketplaces with escrow and payouts are not.

Heavy integrations beyond the core stack cost extra. Salesforce, legacy ERP, custom hardware. We will tell you upfront if it does not fit ten days.

Legal, compliance, and security audits are not included. We follow sensible defaults. Regulated industries need specialist review beyond MVP scope.

We count screens and roles. Three to five screens and one or two user roles usually fit. Seven plus screens or four plus roles usually do not.

We look at AI complexity. One LLM call with structured output fits. Multi-step agent chains with tool use usually do not.

We look at payments and compliance. Simple subscription fits. HIPAA, PCI-heavy flows, or marketplace payouts need more time.

The estimator gives a first pass. We confirm on a short call before you pay. If it does not fit, we say so. No bait and switch.

We may suggest cutting one screen or deferring one integration to protect the timeline. That is not a no. It is how fixed scope stays fixed.

"Can you add one more screen?" Sometimes, if something else comes out. Scope is a budget, not a wish list.

"Will investors take this seriously?" They take traction seriously. A live product with users beats a year of stealth.

"What if I need changes after day ten?" You own the repo. Hire us for phase two, another freelancer, or your first engineer. The MVP is a starting point, not a dead end.
